Scabbard was designed solely for the M-1A1 folding stock carbine.
Made of OD Green canvas the scabbard was slightly padded with a flap at top that was fastened by two lift-dot fasteners.
The rear has a large belt loop for attaching to the web belt or parachute harness. At bottom is a strap for tying around the leg.
Flap has strong “U.S.” marking while the inside is marked “ATLAS AWNING” over “1943.”
