Plate is made of thin stamped brass with clipped corners. At center of the face is a crowned two-headed imperial eagle with spread wings. The eagle is flanked by Cyrillic letters.
The back of the buckle is missing the two thin keepers for attaching to a belt. Tongue is present and in good condition.
Item shows much age but is solid with no cracks or serious dents. [ad][ph:L]
