Exterior is made of a soft white leather with an attached folding visor that has a white cloth top and a tan cloth underside. Exterior is in good condition with some minor surface dirt and several minor spots of staining.

Each side of the hat has snap down earflaps and each flap has a separate snap for attaching a face mask if desired. The front of the crown bears a sewn cloth spread-winged Luftwaffe eagle above the National cockade of black, white, and red which is also made of cloth.

The hat has flaps that come down on each side of the face to tie at the chin, however, the tie strings are missing.

Interior is completely lined with rabbit fur that is in good condition.  [ad] [ph:L]
