Original WW2 Army machete. Measures 23.5” overall with original rough finished 18” blade with a factory applied edge. Strongly stamped “TRUETEMPER / U.S. / -1944-”. The factory edge remains sharp, with no edge nicks. Olive drab plastic grips secured with three flush-ground rivets. Overall in very good condition with little to no use.
Strong olive drab canvas scabbard body with stitched and riveted rear seam. Metal reinforced throat. Wire hooks to attach to web-belt. Unmarked save for a worn number.
