French language. 68 pp., in glazed cloth, 4 To, 14.25” x 11.25. with illustrated cover, color illustrations and songs (lyrics and music) for 34 different countries, leading with France and “La Marseillaise.” All lyrics in native languages with under lyric rendered in French.
Exhibits heavily chipped spine, but with good hinges. Cover soiling, and wear round the extremities. The interior text, made up of rousing patriotic songs and illustrations, however, is clean, tight and colorful. A fascinating collection of martial-patriotic songs from round the, published under French auspices, circa 1900. [jp] [ph:L]
