Next to new condition! Volume is bound in illustrated hardcovers with a corresponding illustrated dustjacket. Covers are like new. The illustrated dustjacket is also in good condition. Book meas. approx. 9.00 x 12.00 inches with nice marbled endpapers and runs 167 pages with index.

The book is profusely illustrated with many color as well as black & white photographs of headgear from the period covered.

Langellier & Loane have spent decades locating and analysing specimens in both public and private collections in the United States and Europe.
