This is a nice, glazed stoneware beer bottle. Measures approximately 8” tall and is 3” in diameter at the base. Typical colors; tan glaze on top with cream glaze on bottom. Some graying is found on the upper portion. No cracks or chips.
A typical 19th century beer bottle and many of this type are excavated in Civil War camps. [jet] [ph:L]
