An original piece of Louisiana currency, being a $2 note issued from the Patterson Iron Works in the city of New Orleans. Dated January 16, 1862.
Interesting note with image of sidewheel riverboat in the center. The note is correctly hand signed and numbered (#69) in ink.
The note is in heavily circulated condition. Red overprints show fading. The overall size of the note measures approximately 6” by 2.75”. [jet] [ph:L]
