This Bond is numbered 1741 and was issued on the 1st of May 1862. It has an imprint of “B. Duncan Columbia S.C.” with C.G. Memminger in the center, the Battle of Shiloh on the left and Confederates storming a fort. This is a type 121 in the book CS Bonds by “Douglas B. Ball Ph. D.” [ws] [ph:L]
