An original Civil War paper money artifact referred to as a $10.00 Confederate Treasury Note. Criswell-listed as a ‘Type 46" note with Ceres leaning on a cotton bale. Single-side printed paper bill is canceled with two X-pattern cancel cuts. The paper condition is good with some edge fraying and overall surface grime. Bill dated Sep 2, 1862 and numbered 39107.
