This document was completed by Captain George Fauntleroy Todd and accounts for food stores used while in camp from October 19th, 1861 – October 26th, a few months after the regiment was assigned to the Department of Norfolk. The regiment was then assigned to the Army of Northern Virginia in April, 1862 and served with distinction through the Eastern Theater of the Civil War.
George Fauntleroy Todd enlisted on 4/26/1861 as a 1st Lieutenant and commissioned on that same day into Company D of the 4th Georgia. He was promoted to Captain on 5/9/1861 and died from wounds at that rank on 7/15/1862 after the Battle of Malvern Hill.
