This is an original Mike McAfee framed watercolor.  Mike McAfee was the former curator for the West Point Museum who passed away in 2019.  He is a famed writer, collector of Civil War photography, and most notably a premier historian in Civil War uniforms, specifically, Zouaves.

The image depicts the standard Continental Marine Uniform for the Revolutionary War time period.  The enlisted officer is illustrated wearing green coat with red facings and silver buttons.

It is matted and the matte frame measures 11 1/2" x 15 1/2".   Overall very fine condition; there is crack in the glass at the lower left corner. The modern frame has a small area of paint loss along the right edge. [mk] [ph:L]
