This is a Model 1866 bayonet for the .44 caliber Winchester musket. Metal is clean and bright with scattered pitting on the back shank and flute. Locking ring works, but the area underneath shows some signs of oxidation. The bayonet is completely unmarked. It measures approximately 18” overall and the socket is 3”.
Very nice bayonet. [mk] [ph:L]
