This is a very good example of the type of bayonet used on the Model 1842 Musket. Measures approximately 20.5” overall. This specimen features a clean, bright finish. Complete with locking ring and screw. Large “U.S.” stamped on blade flat.
Regulation model 1839 scabbard features a brass throat and tip. Brass throat is complete with belt hook. The stitching on the leather is complete and unbroken.
