Brass, two cavity bullet mold for 120 gauge (approx. .31 caliber) English Adams revolver.
It casts two elongated bullets. These feature a pointy nose, two grooves, and a solid base. Iron sprue cutter on top with typical English style rounded extension. Underside of sprue cutter and top of hinge pin feature similar stamp; appearing to be a misstamped "0". Left half of mold features crown stamp with "Robt Adams / 1852" and bullet gauge "120" (approximately .31 caliber).
Cavities remain clean and crisp. Iron and brass retain wonderful mellow color. Other than a few small nicks in one handle, this mold is in excellent condition overall.
A great bullet mold for English revolvers that were imported into the Confederacy. [jet] [ph:L]
