Here is a very good, clean iron mold for Army revolvers (.44 caliber). Two cavity type; one round ball, one conical ball. Typical Civil War-era mold clearly marked “Colt’s Patent” on top of sprue cutter. Cavities are very clean with no dings or scrapes.
Integral sprue cutter is attached at the hinge pin. Some original blue with small scattered patches of light surface pitting. Stamped “.44 H” on right side at hinge.
