Iron scissor-type mold to cast a lead round ball for muskets. Single cavity mold with spout on top and a sprue cutter in handle. Cavity measures approximately 0.70”. This diameter bullet would be used in English smoothbore muskets like the P-51 and could even work in the .75 caliber Brown Bess. Some light surface rust.
These larger caliber molds are much less common than the small-bore molds. [jet][ph:L]
