“Colt's Story in Miniature 1836 To 1862” is an 8.5” x 7” album containing a pamphlet and 14 cast metal miniature replica Colt revolvers in a fitted “book”. Pamphlet is attached inside the blue leatherette album cover. Brass snap closure.
The pamphlet describes Colt revolvers, showcasing those made from 1836 to 1862. Each miniature revolver type is described. Each pewter gun is highly detailed and sets into its own fitted compartment. These were made by a company in New York called Joseph Rappa. The man and company manufactured lead reproductions of war medals. Likely from the late 1960s or early 1970s. A complete set of miniatures. [jet][ph:L]
