A very good example of a World War Two German 9mm P08 Luger. Very good color, showing 90 percent or better, just light wear to raised edges of frame. Excellent grips. Very sharp markings throughout. Very sharp 1778 over script G on front of frame below barrel; 1778 over 8,81 on underside of barrel at breech. Mauser military proofs right receiver forward – two Eagle / 655 military acceptance stamps with an eagle with swastika stamp just forward of them, and small matching eagle on right rear of barrel. Left side of receiver forward has clear 1778 stamp and matching 78 stamps on the side panel plate, on the back below the rear sight, etc. There is a slight drag line from safety on the left. The top of receiver has very sharp 1940 stamp, factory code 42 on the toggle with 78 to rear. Some very slight speckling on rear grip band. Magazine is aluminum bottom, FXO code with waffenamt eagle 37 and P08 stamps.
A classic military pistol with good early war date in great condition that will not disappoint. Please see our photos. [sr] [ph:m]
