Holster body is made of webbed canvas that is in good strong condition with light to moderate surface dirt from age and storage scattered over its surface.
The flap has a large snap with a US Navy eagle button on it’s face. The bottom edge is held together by three brass rivets and stitching while the plug is of plain brass held by six brass rivets.
The back of the holster has a brass double hook riveted to it.
Canvas is free of rot or any weak spots.
There are no markings but the brass plug does have an old collection or museum accession number. [ad][ph:L]
