Dark blue hardcover volumes with the title in gold on the spine and the outline of a MOLLUS medal in gold on the upper right corner of the front covers. Exteriors have minor surface dirt in spots. Page edges have yellowed a bit from age. Volumes meas. approx. 6.25 x 9.25.
The title page of the set reads “THE GETTYSBURG PAPERS…” at top center followed by “COMPILED BY KEN BANDY AND FLORENCE FREELAND.” Published by Morningside Press in 1978. Volume I runs 483 pages with Volume 2 running from page 484 to 1097 including index.
