Excavated New York State seal button in excellent condition. Coat size with straight shank. Smooth patina with 75% gilt remaining. Backmark is “GODDARD & BRO / EXTRA”. Recovered from Little Round Top.

From the collection of Ron Miller, brother of noted Gettysburg relic hunter Ed Miller. Ron was born in Gettysburg and was a teacher by profession. He walked and hunted the surrounding farm fields his entire life in search of relics. He was a member of the Adams County Historical Society and the Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania. [jet] [ph:L]
