This tin drum canteen was originally purchased in 1979 from another dealer and now is back on the market with us. It is a Gettysburg recovered item in good condition.
The tin canteen meas. approx. 6.50 inches across and is 1.50 inches in width. It has all three of the sling keepers as well as a 1.00-inch-tall spout.
One side of the canteen is flat while the other is slightly convex.
Condition is very good despite the convex side having several small indentations. Surface has a nice dark patina.
Comes with an attached old line of hemp rope for hanging on a hook. [ad] [ph:L]
