Arthur Harrison Shields Battlefield Guide business card circa 1930’s.  A.H. Shields was battlefield guide #33 and guided from 1922 until the time of his death in 1950 at age 60.  He opened a museum on the battlefield about 1918 that was run by his family until it closed and the contents were auctioned in 1985.  Card reverse has table of distances from various cities to Gettysburg.  Crease in lower left of card and some toning are the only flaws. Measures 3 7/8” x 2 ¼”.  [dm] [ph:L]
