Unique design tin match holder with celluloid view of the Pennsylvania State Monument riveted at top. Celluloid insert is manufactured by Cruver Mfg. Co of Chicago responsible for making many celluloid souvenirs of the Gettysburg Battlefield from napkin rings and pocket mirrors to match safes. Measures 2.25” wide x 6” high. Pierced tin design around striker area in celestial motif. Advertisement is circa 1910 right around the time the PA monument was dedicated. Striker area has a few marks from being used but in overall good condition. [DM][ph:L]
