This ball is from a round of canister fired from a 12-pound field piece and was found at an unknown location at Gettysburg.  Accompanied by small wooden base to which it is firmly affixed. A small brass plate attached on one side reads, “GETTYSBURG, PA”.   [ld][ph:L]
