Civil War era non-commissioned officers belt buckle. Cast brass eagle buckle which has the one-piece applied German silver wreath. The brass buckle retains a bright finish. This has the narrow ½ inch wide hook on back. No bench mark on plate or keeper. Measures 55mm tall. The detail of the eagle remains very good. Silver wreath is in excellent condition.
