Standard sized black bridal leather box, with “USN” outer flap marking, and inner flap marking, “Navy [star] Yard / N.Y [star] / [anchor] 1861 [anchor]”. Leather exhibits light wrinkling of front flap lower corner, as well as light crack of reverse belt loop, and outer finial and inner pocket straps. Stitching uniformly excellent. Scarce inner tin present, and in fine condition. Overall, VG plus. Superb “1861” USN leather collectible.
