Black bridle leather cartridge box with embossed “US” on the flap. Closing tab stitched and riveted to the outer flap; complete and unbroken. Web loops inside for twenty-four .45-70 cartridges. There is a slot for a combination tool on the side. Belt loop system riveted to the back.
Leather is in very good condition throughout, with slight cracking along top of outer flap. Excellent stitching & webbing. Solid finial and rivets.
