Japanned metal scabbard has numerous small scuff marks and oxidation. Leather yoke is good but shows light wear. All stitching is tight. Frog is slightly curled with minor surface finish loss. It has a brass “USN” rosette attaching it to the yoke. Brass has an oxidized surface with some dirt and verdigris. Reverse of the yoke has light inspector’s initials of “C.H.” [ad] [ph:L]
