This scabbard is in complete condition with some surface rust across the body, but much of its original bluing.

The leather shows typical light use but no signs of uncharacteristic drying or splitting.  Stitching remains secure and complete. The brass “US” medallion and frog are free of tarnish and has developed a mellow patina.
