Kit consists of a wooden fid that meas. approx. 10.50 inches long, a leather palm thimble in good condition, a clump of thread wax and a horn containing six different sized iron needles. The needles are held into the horn by a clump of wax or soap pushed down into the narrow bottom of the horn.
