Round snuff box is coated inside and out in black lacquer. Lid lifts off of base. Several sheets of period newspaper were cut to line base of box. A handwritten note is on top of newspaper which reads, "827 SNUFF BOX / MRS. JONES, MOTHER OF MRS. MANCHESTER JACKSON".
Box measures 2.5" in diameter by .75" high. Shows light wear all over. [sl] [PH:L]
