This is likely some sort of advertisement photograph. In place of the ship’s name, “MEIGS CO. NEWS / STEAMBOAT & MERCHANTILE JOB PRINTING” is printed on the cover of the side wheel. Flags and flag pole tips are tinted. Several figures are placed on the decks but are way too large and out of scale.
