Full-length studio view of this “skeleton.” Referred to as a survivor of Andersonville, there is no documentation as to his true identity or where he was imprisoned. Essentially “skin and bones”, this man poses naked with only a small cloth over his groin. Image is mounted on a trimmed pasteboard backing. Photograph is broken in half with modern tape repair on right edge. From the collection of the late William A. Turner. [jet] [PH:L]
