This CDV photograph is a full standing view of an unidentified Confederate officer. Image is clear with slightly light contrast. The young man wears a full military uniform. He has a double-breasted frock, sword belt with sword at his side and an officer's braided kepi in his hand. No rank insignia is visible. The plain mount is clean and shows no wear. No photographer's backmark.
