Image is a chest-up view of a Confederate major with a long beard. He wears a light colored double-breasted frock coat with a high collar displaying the singe star of a major’s rank. The buttons and star are all touched with gold paint.
Contrast and clarity is good. Paper has light surface dirt while the mount is good.
Revers is blank but for some collector information in pencil.
