This is a carte de visite (CDV) of an unidentified Confederate Soldier. Standing studio view wearing a well-fitted uniform. He wears a single-breasted waist jacket, belt with oval buckle, and has kepi on column next to him. Image is clear but light. The photographer used pen & ink to define lines and details on image. Mount is plain and remains in good condition. No photographer's backmark.
From the William Turner collection. [jet] [PH:L]
