This is approximately a 1/6 plate hard case in octagonal or clipped-corner format. The thermoplastic case is in excellent condition overall. One of the hinges shows evidence of being glued. Two brass hinges and one catch. On the interior, one side has pressed velvet lining and the other side has printed paper maker’s label. Both halves of hard case have a matching brown color and feature raised patterns. The central imagery is of two men racing horses within an oval frame.
A nice Union case. [jet] [ph:L]
