This dual image shows the home of “General Warden”, with an ink note at lower right which reads “Residence of Genl S Warden Darlington”. The state is listed but is obscured by slight outer layer loss to the right, lower corner of the manilla mounting card. Some wear is noted at the corners as well as the top and bottom front edges. The reverse is clean and blank, save for a penciled notations reading “$8 SS” and “$5 SS 11/98”. “8-“ is penciled in the upper right corner and a miniscule dark stain is present at the upper center. Overall measurements are 6.75” x 3.3”.
A more obscure stereoview of an officer’s palatial home. [CM][PH:L]
