This is the type of artillery round fired from smoothbore Napoleon cannons. Recovered near Fredericksburg, VA. Iron cannonball is in very good condition with some minor pitting. Ball has been drilled and coated.
The Confederate Bormann fuse is present and remains in very good condition. The fuse is punched near the two second mark.
