This "delicate" Confederate spur uses oval, strap brackets, and thin cast arms that extend smoothly into the generic style neck. The iron rowel remains complete and still spins. The brass surface shows a very dark and crusty patina. There are no bends, breaks or cracks.

This one was recovered near Orange, Virginia and is a nice Confederate cavalryman’s spur.  [jet] [PH:L]
