Here is a good example of the large size of the French pattern bullet with triangular cavity. Has typical single wide, flat groove and in .69 caliber. Nose cast with tall base.
Measures 0.99” tall and 0.69” in diameter; cavity is 0.405” deep; base is 0.33” from bottom to groove.
Very nice “dug” specimen with some dirt remaining. Light gray and tan patina overall. [jet][ph:JET]
