This is a strong brass double-link chain that is about 10” long. Brass has nice brown patina with traces of gold wash in the crevices. At one end an 18mm “Extra Quality” Eagle button is attached by a brass hook. Attached at the midpoint is an iron loop that could have held an ID disk, corps badge, or decorative cape pin.
A very interesting “dug” relic. Unknown recovery location. [jet][ph:L]
