Original confederate manufacture matched-set brass spurs with remnants of leather straps remaining. Partial iron rowels are present and are of the large point variety. The overall surface shows moderate verdigris from ground exposure with some small sections of mellow brass patina. A few visible casting flaws can be observed.

The spurs were formerly part of “The Old Stone House Museum” collection in Windsor, NY. Comes with a hand typed museum tag reading “RELIC CONFEDERATE SPURS FROM/ LONGSTREET’S CAMP AT THE/ WILDERNESS BATTLEFIELD”. Also, an inventory sheet noting the spurs were found near Mine Road and acquired in 1974 from a VA dealer.
