This is a drinking glass made of thin clear glass. Glass is very light and features much thinner walls than we are used to today. A frosted etching on the front has “G.A.R.” atop a large patriotic shield with an oval portrait of Winfield Scott Hancock in the center. Various military motifs protrude from behind the shield on the left and right. A ribbon on the left reads, “Fraternity, Loyalty, Charity” and one at the bottom has “SOUVENIR”. One small chip on the rim at the back. Glass measures approximately 3.75” tall x 2.75” in diameter. [jet] [ph:L]
