GAR MEMBERSHIP BADGE, TYPE IVa

Complete GAR membership badge in good condition.

Badge consists of a brass spread-winged eagle perched on crossed cannons over a stack of cannonballs. Reverse has the original pin.

Suspended from the top bar is a full color US Flag ribbon that is in good condition.

The brass star shaped drop has the GAR seal at center with crossed rifles, swords, cannons an anchor and an infantry horn in each of the arms of the star. Reverse has all the Corps badges relating to the entire Union Army.  There is no serial number along the edge.  Very good condition overall. [ld][ph:L]
